Green Commandments A & H Commercial Cleaning has agreed to support the Green Janitor program's Green Commandment approach to janitorial, cleaning, and building maintenance services. By belonging in this program, we are making an overt commitment to apply the following guidelines to the highest level practicable. Because no janitorial firm is ever totally Green complaint because the program changes from month to month and year to year, it is our desire to increase the Green factor in each facility served by our firm for the betterment of our clients, their stakeholders and customers, their employees and the general community. Green Programs: We encourage those in decision-making positions to provide effective leadership in a Green Program. We cannot control the decisions of those in political or corporate levels of policy and mandates, but we do hope to be instrumental in promoting Green Programs in as many facilities as possible. A Green Program is defined in three distinct applications;
Green Agenda: Those in the decision-making realm are encouraged to require Green products and Green practices as they develop contracts, guidelines, and mandates.
Green Products: Green Products are defined as products having little or negligible immediate and residual impact on those in the workplace or those applying the products.
Green Practices: The training and development of the janitorial or cleaning workforce empowers these people to act in the best efforts in their cleaning duties.
